South Harris

At the beginning of March and for the second time this year I headed to the wild north west of Scotland to catch the last of the winter weather.  This shot was taken on South Harris looking accross the Sound of Tarransay.  The photograph belies the weather conditions, a squall was fast approaching and I was wrestling a storm umbrella trying to protect the camera from the strong wind and sea spray.  This was using an Alpa technical camera which adds an extra layer of difficulty in already tricky conditions but the resulting quality of the image makes it all worthwhile.
